About Me

Focused on results that residents can see.

Get to Know Fahad

Fahad Ahmed is a husband, father, entrepreneur, and community leader who believes leadership should be measured by trust earned, problems solved, and results people can actually see.

Raised by a single mother, Fahad learned early the values of responsibility, sacrifice, and hard work. As the youngest of three brothers, he helped support his family and developed a deep respect for service, stability, and showing up for the people counting on you.

He went on to build a successful career at Microsoft and Google, serving in strategy and leadership roles where he worked through complex challenges, built consensus, and delivered results. That experience shaped how he leads today: listen carefully, think clearly, and stay focused on what matters most.

In Irving, Fahad has already been doing the work. He has served in Valley Ranch leadership, worked closely with residents and city staff to address neighborhood concerns, and served on the City of Irving Planning & Zoning Commission with a practical, balanced approach that respects both homeowners and small business owners.

He understands that strong communities are built on safe neighborhoods, well-maintained infrastructure, responsible growth, and a city government that treats residents with fairness and respect. He also understands that public service is not about talking points. It is about showing up, doing the work, and following through.

Fahad is running to bring serious leadership, thoughtful decision-making, and real accountability to City Hall. Because District 6 deserves a representative who knows the community, understands the issues, and is ready to serve from day one.

He is not running to be a politician.
He is running to serve.

As a certified scuba diver, he enjoys traveling and exploring marine life. He also enjoys riding his motorcycle and discovering new restaurants, while embracing different cultures and experiences.

Proven Leadership. Real Results.

I believe leadership should be measured by outcomes, not titles. These are examples of the work I have personally led and delivered for our community:

Helped implement speed monitoring signs, warning systems, and coordinated with police to improve enforcement in high-risk areas.

Public Safety & Law Enforcement

Collaborated with Irving Police leadership to address safety concerns and reduce criminal activity. Supported targeted enforcement efforts to improve road safety and increase police presence in areas that needed it most.

Parks & Community Life

Advocated for improved park amenities, including recreational spaces for youth and families. Supported inclusive community initiatives and worked to strengthen engagement across diverse neighborhoods.

Business & Economic Support

Supported small businesses by organizing networking opportunities and helping owners access city resources. Worked with local companies to improve operations and encourage sustainable economic growth.

Environmental & Civic Leadership

Partnered with community groups to support environmental initiatives and local engagement. Served on the Planning & Zoning Commission, helping guide responsible development that protects neighborhoods.

Citywide Leadership & Governance

Served on the Planning & Zoning Commission, reviewing development proposals and advocating for responsible growth. Worked to ensure decisions protect neighborhoods while supporting long-term city planning and stability.

Closing Line

This is the kind of leadership I bring—hands-on, accountable, and focused on real results that improve everyday life for Irving residents.
